Wish I’d heard this back in the 80s. It took me until my late forties to start thinking like this and discovering I had a ‘me’ that other musicians and songwriters loved to work with. But it was always there, I got too hung up trying to emulate other players....like Vinnie.....to realise my ‘me’ had a value. I’d happily listen to Vinnie talk without seeing him play, everything any musician needs to know for direction is in this podcast.
